Chelsea 1994:

Mark’s first Chelsea exhibit & it won a gold medal! Sponsored by Cartier & Harpers & Queen Magazine, the “Classical Garden” portrayed a historic “Bosquet”: a planted glade within a woodland setting. The garden layout used “false perspective”; a neat trick to fool the eye & make the space appear larger. Award: Gold Medal.

Contractor: Clifton Nurseries Ltd.
